Ganymede

You are the security officer aboard a starship heading to Ganymede - Jupiter’s biggest moon. You must check the details of approaching vessels and verify them for safe pass-by. Be vigilant. There are smugglers, corporate competitors, and more in the space lanes…

WISHLIST ON STEAM

Contact Protocol is the premiere title of Cold Zephyr Games.

Inspired directly by Papers, Please, ConPro aims to stretch and innovate on the investigation genre. It will discover just how well human morality performs in high-stakes scenarios with limited time. Watch the trailer here.

GAMEPLAY

Contact Protocol is a corporate job-sim. You will check data, fill out
paperwork, and (if you’re a good employee) follow company procedure.

DATA CHECK

Use everything at your disposal to verify the data of approaching vessels.

Cross-reference with company records, your personal notebook, and official schematics.

paperwork

A good, loyal GalCo employee keeps accurate paperwork.

Tick, circle, and sign on the dotted line properly, or you’ll have the Quartermaster breathing down your neck.

investigate

You must use your social deduction skills to determine the intentions of other ships. All while they’re doing the same for you.

Use your best judgement. Be vigilant.

Torpedo combat

As a last resort, you may have to fire a torpedo to stop ships from passing you, and heading back toward Earth.

Torpedo combat is not flashy and glorious. It may look like just a few pixels blinking off a screen, but there are human lives at stake.

FRED

This is the crew of PALE-HORSE. Between ship encounters, you’ll be speaking to them.

Your actions will decide if they help or hinder you on your journey to Ganymede.

Try to be nice.
