THE TEAM
Cold Zephyr Games are comprised of former students from the London College of Communication, who met by happenchance during a collaborative MA module. Michael Hunter (programmer, writer & studio lead) formerly worked as teacher and manager at a school for special learning needs, and Peter Wood (art lead) comes from a background of traditional painting and illustration. James Leys (marketing) spent years working in customer experience before enrolling in an Advertising BA at LCC, whilst Rob Marr (music) is completing an MA in composition & arrangement. We all share a common thread of having returned to higher education after many years out in the wild, and as such feel like our combined experience outside of the games industry allows us to bring personal and unconventional approaches to our work at Cold Zephyr Games.
Peter and Michael have previously worked together on a small game for UNESCO which aimed to raise awareness of fragile ocean ecosystems. The game was selected as a winner of UNESCO's own 'Ocean Decades' competition, and featured on their website.
